Rod Stewart live at Páirc Uí Chaoimh 2019!
Rod played on Saturday the 25th of May in Cork and it was amazing! We had the grills going all night and our team were rocking to Rod Stewart blasting out his loved classics!
Rod Stewart belted out his classic hits such as Maggie May, The First Cut Is The Deepest and Baby Jane!
If you were lucky enough to have gone to Rod Stewart live at Páirc Uí Chaoimh, we hope you called over to us!
Following on from the successful Ed Sheeran concerts in Páirc Uí Chaoimh last year, we were thrilled to be back again for another music legend!
Rod made a lovely gesture by displaying an image of the late Liam Miller during the night. The former Celtic and Ireland footballer sadly passed away from cancer last year. Stewart, a die hard Celtic supporter, payed tribute to the Cork man during his show. A genuine touch of class from the music legend.
Rod Stewart has also been getting a lot of attention lately around his much loved version of the iconic ‘Grace’ ballad.
This beautiful love song was written by Frank and Seán O’Meara in 1985. It depicts the life and tragic romance of Joseph Plunkett and Grace Gifford. This song also tells of Plunkett’s love for the Cause of Irish Freedom. This cause which he gave his life for.
Listen to Rod Stewart perform ‘Grace’ in Páirc Uí Chaoimh below!
