The Hodder's Lane is a pork sausage is packed with flavour using a blend of dried sage & ground black pepper.
This sausage is made gluten free with 90% pork, it's also high in protein and low in salt.
The name "The Hodder's Lane" was inspired from the Cork street where our family originated.
"Hodder’s Lane" is a small lane on the on the north side of Cork City where our Family lived for many years.
Hodder's Lane is a side lane off Gerald Griffin Street. In the early 1900's it was actually on the compound of the old Denny’s Pork factory where our Great Grand Father, Grand Father and family members worked over many decades making sausages, black & white Puddings, curing bacon, crubeens, pigs tails.
This area at the time was a hive of activity in Cork with Denny’s, Murphy’s Brewery, The English Market, The Butter Exchange, Linen Factories and local Butcher shops, Bakers & Grocers.
